The UT inspection is performed by the ROWA UT instrument, installed in the central bench. The system is subdivided into eight functional zones: – Lifting bench – 1st and 2nd loading conveyor – Infeed roller conveyor – Central bench – Outfeed roller conveyor – Goods unloading cradle – Short unloading cradle – Scrap unloading cradle Each zone has its own function, drives, sensors and safety devices, emergency functions and adjustments in relation to the intended and permitted use by the operator. The system is equipped with a PLC-controlled pyramid safety circuit. The system complies with EMC regulations.
