Newly developed multiple rotating ultrasonic probe type PRA 1433 with rotating connector for axle and crown inspection having the ability to accommodate up to 4 sensors (for disc Ø max 100 mm) or 6 sensors (for disc Ø greater than 100 mm) placed at different angles and at different frequencies. Rotationally placed sensors check the axle at different depths thus ensuring inspection of critical parts of the part. It is possible to display signals in B-Scan format using the multiple probe with encoder. Sensor gradations vary according to the characteristics of the axle and the areas to be inspected. We can make multiple rotating probes of any size suitable for any type of railway axle.

ULTRASONIC BOROSONDE FOR HOLLOW AXLE INSPECTION

This line of sensors was developed specifically for ultrasonic inspection of hollow axles. They exist in different configurations, for different diameters. Thanks to the surface slots, the coupling fluid remains on the sensor, ensuring proper coupling, without having to use special adduction systems. The head, is equipped with two connectors on the ends to allow reversing the output of the ultrasonic beam. Scope of supply includes: - Single-crystal borosonde head with double connector for IN/OUT beam orientation; - L=1300mm decomposable connecting rod with overhead joint and quick connection borosonde head; - Magnetic centering bezel; - Connecting cable with 90° coaxial connector; - EN-12668-2 transducer certificate. Head Configuration: - Borosonde diameters: 30, 45, 56, 65, 85, 90 mm; - Diameter tolerances: 3 to 6 mm according to the nominal diameter; - Dim. Crystals: 8x9 ,14x14, 14x20, 20x22 mm (depending on borosonde diameter); - Frequency: 2 to 5 MHz; - Angles: 35° to 70°, (or 70° secant);
