SMART VISION is an endoscopically controlled system dedicated to the identification of defects in the metal casting of aircraft parts and components. The SMART VISION system consists of a machine consisting of 3 specific units: the mobile workpiece support slide, the endoscopic probe support, and finally the endoscope. The workpiece support slide consists of a motorized unit that can be electronically adjusted according to the length of the part to be examined, an electronically height-adjustable idler support unit to keep the part planar, and finally an idler pressure wheel to ensure that the part to be inspected remains stable during the inspection phase. The whole assembly is mounted on a slide that will carry the part toward the endoscopic probe to be checked. The endoscope probe holder is electronically adjustable in height in both manual and automatic modes according to the recipe entered on the control panel, of a manual adjustment in order to collimate the relative centers of the probe and the controlled part according to the visual requirements of the probe. The control unit is Waygate Technologies' MENTOR VISUAL iQ HD endoscope, but it can be used with all types of endoscopes on the market. The frame of SMART VISION is made of drawn tubular aluminum specially designed to be able to accommodate inside it all the mechanical and electronic parts designed for its operation. Loading and unloading operations are carried out through the manual opening of 3 retractable sliding doors that provide the security and degree of darkening to be able to operate the endoscope at its best. The doors are equipped with a window to be able to observe the first stages of the plant's work, these windows are equipped with a metal blind that will need to be closed during the inspection phase. Safe access of the plant is provided by a photoelectric barrier consisting of 4 elements so as to completely cover the loading unloading and working area. The power supply of the plant is: 230V, 1P+N+PE, 50Hz.

UTS-C PA

UTS-C PA is an ultrasonic inspection system dedicated to the identification of defects in the casting of incoming material from the cylindrical roller foundry. The UTS-C PA system consists of a machine to be included in an existing control and packaging line consisting of a robotic anthropomorphic arm equipped with a dedicated gripper for gripping cylindrical rollers of various diameters, which will be placed in a control tank containing water and anti-rust additive.Inside the latter is a rotary table equipped with a vacuum cylindrical roller clamping device and a dedicated probe holder, adjustable both in distance and collimation of the focus of the same. Finally, the system consists of a drying belt equipped with heating elements, fans and temperature sensor that will return the controlled part to the exit belt present on the existing line.The machinery will also be able to function, if necessary, as a simple positioner from one belt to another. Any scraps will be deposited in a special tray.

UTS-V is an automatic system designed to check the weld between head and stem of mono-material and bi-material valves using the ultrasonic method. Thanks to dedicated software, it is possible to automatically reject non-conforming parts (according to one or more previously made calibrations).

UTS 1000SQ-DN

The UTS-1000SQ-DN is an automatic system designed for the ultrasonic inspection of small/medium mechanical parts, in this case it can be applied for the rotating parts of helicopter rotors. The inspection test is performed by the movement of three mechanical axes that move the probe within the scanning volume. Scanning operations are managed by the operator thanks to the 'UTS EXAMINER ACQUISITION SOFTWARE' software from CASONI SRL.

UTS-750 PA

UTS-750 PA is an automatic system designed for the ultrasonic inspection o small/medium parts using the phased array technology. The maximum work volume is 750x500x300mm. The part is positioned on the support plan prepared inside the tank by the operator. The system is composed by a tank containing the coupling liquid necessary for the scan process. It is equipped with a hydraulic system dedicated to filter and sterilize the liquid contained in the tank, keeping it clean. The scan process is done thanks to the movement of three automatic axes and one manual axis that move the probe inside of the scan volume. Is present a HMI for the use of the machine. The touch panel is used to send the commands for the functions of the PLC in manual mode and for maintenance procedures. Conformity according to the EMC norms and standards.

SMT2

SMT2 is an automatic system designed for the inspection of sheets. The machinery is composed by a stainless steel frame with 20 liters tank containing the coupling liquid necessary for the scan process. SMT2 is equipped with n°4 wheels (2 fix + 2 pivot) necessary for moving while scanning. The probes lifting system allows to move without the probe holders being in continuous contact with the surface. The power supply of the system is: 12Vdc + 10A. The scan operations are managed by the operator thanks to the dedicated SW installed on the PC. The UT device is powered by n°2 lithium batteries.
