					<description><![CDATA[SMART VISION is an endoscopically controlled system dedicated to the identification of defects in the metal casting of aircraft parts and components.

The SMART VISION system consists of a machine consisting of 3 specific units: the mobile workpiece support slide, the endoscopic probe support, and finally the endoscope.

The workpiece support slide consists of a motorized unit that can be electronically adjusted according to the length of the part to be examined, an electronically height-adjustable idler support unit to keep the part planar, and finally an idler pressure wheel to ensure that the part to be inspected remains stable during the inspection phase.

The whole assembly is mounted on a slide that will carry the part toward the endoscopic probe to be checked. The endoscope probe holder is electronically adjustable in height in both manual and automatic modes according to the recipe entered on the control panel, of a manual adjustment in order to collimate the relative centers of the probe and the controlled part according to the visual requirements of the probe.

The control unit is Waygate Technologies' MENTOR VISUAL iQ HD endoscope, but it can be used with all types of endoscopes on the market.

The frame of SMART VISION is made of drawn tubular aluminum specially designed to be able to accommodate inside it all the mechanical and electronic parts designed for its operation. Loading and unloading operations are carried out through the manual opening of 3 retractable sliding doors that provide the security and degree of darkening to be able to operate the endoscope at its best. The doors are equipped with a window to be able to observe the first stages of the plant's work, these windows are equipped with a metal blind that will need to be closed during the inspection phase.

Safe access of the plant is provided by a photoelectric barrier consisting of 4 elements so as to completely cover the loading unloading and working area.

The power supply of the plant is: 230V, 1P+N+PE, 50Hz.]]></description>

Finally, the system consists of a drying belt equipped with heating elements, fans and temperature sensor that will return the controlled part to the exit belt present on the existing line.The machinery will also be able to function, if necessary, as a simple positioner from one belt to another.
