The equipment is a bench for the manual control of tubes that uses eddy current.
The equipment is equipped for the control of three types of tube: ø41.5 tubes, ø36.5 tubes and shaped tubes.
The bench is composed of a structure of profiles that supports the other components of the equipment such as the marker, the probe holder, the support structure of the tube (shuttle) and the probe support.
The inspection is possible thanks to the manual movement of the tube placed in examination along a linear guide fixed on the profile structure.
To start the scan, an enabling button connected to the foerester instrument has been inserted on the handle, to be pressed during the manual movement of the shuttle along the linear guide.
