UTS-1000 COMPACT is an automatic system designed for the characterization of UT probes and for the UT control of small / medium sized parts.
The maximum scan volume is 1000x250x250 mm. The scan is performed thanks to the movement of three mechanical axes that move the probe within the scan volume. The plant was designed to be able to perform multiple functions such as:
• Characterization of UT probes according to UNI EN ISO 22232-2 – Non-destructive tests – Characterization and verification of ultrasonic test equipment – Part 2: Probes.
• Execution of flat UT scans with a maximum scan volume of 450x250x250 mm.
• Execution of UT scans of cylindrical parts in rotation thanks to the presence of a motorized roller conveyor installed in the tank, whose maximum scannable piece has the following dimensions: ∅ 60mm x L 300 mm.
