UTS-SQUARE-BARS is a partly completed machinery designed for the ultrasonic inspection of square bars.
The scan dimensional range goes from a minimum section of 20×20 to a maximum of 150x100mm.
The system is composed by two principal groups: mechanical system and hydraulic system. Mechanical system is designed so that, when installed, it’s possible to insert and remove the mechanics from the production line.
The positioning of the probes is adjustable manually based on the dimensions of the probes to be scanned.
Two control tanks allow the passage of the bars and their immersion in the coupling liquid.
