UTS2-2500_500 is an automatic system designed for the ultrasonic inspection of mechanical parts with cylindrical shapes.
The maximum work volume is of 2500x500x500 mm.
The machinery is composed by a tank containing the coupling liquid necessary for the scan process. The hydraulic filtering and UV sterilizing system works to maintain the water tank clean.
The inspection test is done thanks to the movement of three mechanical axes that move the probe around the component to scan. The parts that provide the three mechanical axes movement are protected by cover carters, safety barriers and safety devices like switches.
The correct positioning of the part inside the tank is guaranteed by the module installed in it: RO2-2500_500.
The module is fixed in the tank with the feet present on the structure.
It is composed of fixed motorized rollers and idle moving rollers, which are adjustable to support the component in two directions: horizontal and vertical.
